New York Studio Visit - FAQ
Where is the studio located?
We are located on Franklin Street in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City. The address (and arrival instructions) are provided in your booking confirmation email. (Please check your promotions folder in case the email is filtered.)
Do you accept walk-ins or same-day appointments?
We are a by-appointment only studio, but we accommodate same-day appointments when possible. Please email us at studio@georgerings.com and we will let you know if a time is available.
Do you have all of your styles and sizes available to see and try on?
Yes, we carry all of our current styles in the studio, and a very a wide range of sizes. For uncommon ring sizes, we have silver "sizers" for you to test the fit.
How can I prepare? What to expect?
Appointments are usually between 30 minutes and 1 hour, and based on the information you've provided in your booking, we curate a selection of pieces for you. We usually begin with determining your proper ring sizes, and asking you questions about how you wear jewelry, what is drawing you to George Rings, and what you most desire.
We then help you try on different rings, stacks, bracelets, pendants, earrings, etc, to see what feels most like "you." You will want to wear clothing that best represents who you are in your day-to-day life, so that the jewelry you choose feels at home on you.
When you find what you love the most, we will help you place your order, and the made-to-order process will begin in our workshop. If you want more time to think about your selection, we absolutely honor that. There is never any rush.
We will provide you with a card with your sizes and top choices, and follow up with you via email after the appointment.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes, and we have a few requests:
(1) Please provide us with their full name and relationship to you.
(2) To the extent possible, please bring guests who understand you and encourage you to choose what you love, not what they love. You will be the one wearing the jewelry for life, so it's important that you are undistracted by the opinions of those who may not fully honor your personal sovereignty. (And please leave husbands at home, unless they are fun.)

Will I be able to take my jewelry home the same day?
Our pieces are handmade-to-order in our private workshop in Salt Lake City. The jewelry in our New York studio is not available for same-day purchase but rather for learning about the designs, discovering your ideal styles, stacks, combinations, and ring sizes, and placing your order. Your order will be shipped to you, and our customary 2-4 week processing times will apply.
Can you resize my George ring in the studio?
The studio is a great place to learn or confirm your preferred ring size, so we welcome you to make an appointment if you need support for resizing. In terms of the actual resizing work, no, we do not do any of the jewelry production or resizing in our New York studio. If your ring needs to be resized, we will send it to our private workshop in Salt Lake City. Our goldsmiths will need 7-10 days to resize, and then it will be shipped directly to you.
Can you engrave my George ring in the studio?
As with resizing (above), we do not engrave in our New York studio. If your would like to engrave one of your existing George pieces, we will send it to our private workshop in Salt Lake City, and our goldsmiths will engrave your piece within 7-10 days. We will then ship it directly to you.
Do you have your signature perfume available to test in the studio?
We do! Our collectors love our signature scent, and we have testers to try and bottles to buy in our studio.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
We appreciate at least 24 hours notice for changes or cancelations. Please use the links at the bottom of your confirmation email if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
