What is a ‘trunk show’ and what can I expect at this one?
A trunk show is an occasion for you to see, touch, and feel the weight and softness of our jewelry in person. There is something very special about being physically present to consult, connect, determine sizes, study stacks and combinations, and discover just the ‘right’ pieces. We have joyfully and personally created our gold works of art, and the intimacy of sharing them in person is a delight.
For our Charleston trunk show, we have reserved a beautiful space on the main floor of a charming hotel downtown. The room is well-lit, private yet accessible, and parking is plentiful.
Jade and Chelsea, founders and designers of George Rings, will be present to personally consult with each collector. We will also have two other members of our team present for packaging and support.
Will you have your entire collection?
Yes. We will also have a wider range of ring sizes for each style this time.
If I purchase during the trunk show, can I take home my treasures or are they made to order?
We hope to have your pendant, earrings, chain or ring size with us, in which case you are welcome to wear your purchase home the day of the trunk show. If we need to create your piece, it will ship in 2-3 weeks.
Am I required to purchase during the trunk show?
No, there is no pressure to purchase during the trunk show. For those who are ready, we have a gift with purchase for you.
How long will my appointment last?
The appointments usually last between 15 and 30 minutes, but there is no rush.
Anything I should bring or prepare for?
If you have your eye on pendants and chains, we suggest wearing a top with a neckline that you most commonly wear so that you select your most versatile chain length.
Is the $100 reservation deposit refundable if I don't make a purchase that day?
The $100 is not refundable, but works as store credit and can be applied toward any GR purchase, at the trunk show or in the future. Additionally, you may bring up to two extra guests per appointment.
