Meet the new Shield ring, a ring that embodies the core characteristics of George designs — solidity, attention to curvature and proportion, simplicity — and adds new elements of strength, magnitude, and backbone.

The design of this mighty ring took many months, as we sketched, sculpted, and cast dozens of shield shapes. When the proportions finally felt right, the shield echoed some of nature’s most beautiful protectors: the turtle shell, the beetle back, the seed pod rib, the human spine.

Cast in 18K gold and solid all the way through, the Shield ring will safeguard and comfort you for a lifetime.
